The song, released on singer Durgesh Thapa’s YouTube channel, faced intense backlash for allegedly disparaging the teaching profession through its lyrics and visuals. In her statement, Karki clarified that the track was created solely for promotional purposes and is not included in the film’s official narrative, emphasizing that she never intended to disrespect educators.

Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Karki expressed deep regret for the offense caused and apologized to teachers, the Nepal Teachers’ Association, and her audience.
