As the Embassy of Nepal prepares its stall and information booth for DT Fest 2026, Sharad Raj Aran, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., has issued a special message inviting the DMV community in the United States to participate in the festival happening on October 11, 2026. The Nepal Embassy will feature a dedicated booth in the Sagarmatha Zone alongside the main DT Fest booth to provide consular service information and share updates regarding Nepal.
Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Sharad Raj Aran also highlighted this event as an opportunity to share Dashain, Tihar, and Chhat Puja wishes among the community. He emphasized that this is not just an event, but a celebration and promotion of Nepali tourism, food, and culture, alongside a meaningful initiative to support recent flood victims in Nepal.
In response to devastating floods affecting families across Nepal, 3E Entertainment has teamed up with the Global Family Foundation to launch the “Together for Nepal: Music with a Purpose” campaign. Demonstrating an immediate commitment to the cause, 3E Entertainment has already contributed NPR 100,000 (Rs. 1 Lakh) directly toward relief efforts for those impacted by the disaster.

The campaign turns upcoming cultural events and artist tours into vital relief platforms, operating on the principle that every dollar counts. Specifically, DTFEST Virginia and DTFEST New England have pledged a portion of their online ticket proceeds through September 10 to support flood victims. Additionally, prominent musical acts such as Mukti & Revival—during their 30-year anniversary USA tour—alongside Samikshya Adhikari and Shiva Pariyar, are contributing $500 from every show. Organizers encourage the community to support these humanitarian initiatives, as the Global Family Foundation ensures all contributions reach those most in need.
