Nepal Festival Sydney 2026 Announced for November 7 at Darling Harbour

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) SCC NSW has officially announced Nepal Festival Sydney 2026, one of the largest celebrations of Nepali culture and heritage in Australia. The festival is scheduled to take place on November 7, 2026, at Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour, bringing together the Nepali community and multicultural audiences from across Australia.

Organizers have launched the countdown campaign with the theme “One Country, Many Stories,” highlighting Nepal’s rich cultural diversity, traditions, tourism, and community spirit. The event is being presented by NRNA SCC NSW with support from the Embassy of Nepal in Canberra and the Nepal Tourism Board. Promotional materials feature iconic landmarks and cultural symbols from both Nepal and Australia, reflecting the strong ties between the two nations.

The festival is expected to showcase traditional and contemporary Nepali music, cultural performances, food stalls, art exhibitions, tourism promotions, and family-friendly activities throughout the day. Organizers say the event will serve as a platform to celebrate Nepali identity, promote Nepal as a travel destination, and strengthen community connections among Nepalis living in Australia. With the countdown officially underway, community members are being encouraged to mark their calendars and prepare for a vibrant celebration of Nepalese culture in the heart of Sydney.
