Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Nepal claimed the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026 title with a 44-run victory over the United Arab Emirates in the final at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur. Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Nepal posted a formidable total of 313/9 in their 50 overs, anchored by opener Aasif Sheikh’s brilliant 102 off 106 deliveries. He shared a crucial 93-run opening stand with Arjun Kumal, who contributed 43 runs, while valuable middle-order contributions from Rohit Paudel (40) kept the scoreboard ticking.

A late explosive surge propelled Nepal well past the 300-run mark, driven by Gulshan Jha’s rapid 52 off just 38 balls. For the United Arab Emirates, Ibrar Shah Ahmad led the bowling attack by picking up 4/62 in his eight overs, while Khuzaima Bin Tanvir chipped in with two wickets to try and stall Nepal’s momentum.
Chasing a target of 314, the United Arab Emirates fought valiantly through a resilient unbeaten century from wicketkeeper-batter Rahul Chopra, who scored 100* off 105 balls, alongside Sohaib Khan’s gritty 52 and Tanish Suri’s quickfire 42. However, disciplined bowling spells led by Karan KC, who claimed 3/49, and Lalit Rajbanshi’s 2/43 dismantled the chase, bundling UAE out for 269 in 49.1 overs to secure the championship trophy for Nepal.
