Virginia, USA. Mukti Shakya, the front man of the renowned Nepali rock band Mukti and Revival, arrived in Virginia today alongside his wife, flying in from Spain to kick off their milestone 30th-anniversary USA tour. Suresh Sapkota of 3E Entertainment warmly received the artist at Dulles International Airport. The rest of the band members are scheduled to fly in from Nepal and arrive on September 10, 2026, according to the event organizers.

The extensive USA tour runs from September 12 through October 16, 2026, featuring performances including DT Fest in New England and DT Fest in Virginia alongside fellow artists Samikchhya Adhikari and Siva Pariyar. Beyond the musical celebrations, the tour carries a strong philanthropic mission centered on disaster relief. Organizers announced that $500 from every concert will be directly donated to a disaster relief fund, while all net proceeds from the Atlanta and New England shows after expenses will be donated to the Nepal government disaster relief fund. Additionally, Mike McCarthy has scheduled a charity show in San Francisco on September 18.

In a unified push for flood relief, 3E Entertainment in collaboration with the Global Family Foundation has integrated fundraising into their upcoming events under the banner “Together for Nepal.” Alongside the per-show and post-expense donations, the organizers have committed that 50% of online ticket proceeds for DT Fest Virginia and DT Fest New England purchased through September 10 will go toward relief efforts, building upon an initial contribution of NPR 100,000 (Rs. 1 Lakh) already donated by 3E Entertainment.
