The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially confirmed that the third season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), themed as “The Festival of Himalayas,” is scheduled to run from October 26 to November 21. Shifting from its traditional post-festival December window, this year’s premier T20 franchise cricket tournament will unfold uniquely between the major Dashain and Tihar festivals.

With player auctions already completed, participating franchise teams are actively locking in their domestic stars and international player rosters ahead of the action. While the tournament is set to bring high-octane franchise cricket back to the grounds, organizers plan to briefly pause gameplay around the core Tihar celebrations as fans gear up for another major milestone in Nepali sports.
