An investigation is underway in Irving, Texas, following a violent assault at the Peak Restaurant & Bar on the 3400 block of West Airport Freeway. Police were dispatched to the scene shortly after midnight on July 2, responding to reports of a large-scale disturbance involving up to 20 people and the use of objects, including beer bottles, as weapons.

Security camera footage reviewed by authorities revealed that four men had collectively attacked a single victim. Officers later tracked the suspects and the victim to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Irving. Evidence gathered from the surveillance footage indicated that the attackers used their fists, feet, chairs, and glass bottles during the assault. The victim suffered multiple injuries, including a head laceration requiring stitches, neck cuts, and a suspected concussion.

Four suspects—31-year-old Suraj Basnet, 29-year-old Dhiraj Basnet, 22-year-old Amit Khatri-Nepal, and 22-year-old Shoib Khadka—have been taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, which is a second-degree felony. Additionally, Khatri-Nepal faces a third-degree felony charge for the alleged possession or use of a stolen credit card. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
