Kuma Sagar & The Khwopa Band to Bring Their Signature Sound to DMV on September 18

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Nepali folk-fusion sensation Kuma Sagar & The Khwopa Band are set to perform live in the DMV area on September 18 at the Michael & Son Sports Arena. The US Tour is managed by Dwako Events while DMV live is presented by The DMV Collective, the concert is expected to bring together music enthusiasts from across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. for an evening celebrating contemporary and traditional Nepali music.

Kuma Sagar & The Khwopa Band have earned widespread recognition for their unique blend of traditional Newari musical elements and modern sounds. Their performances have attracted audiences in Nepal and abroad, making them one of the most sought-after live acts among Nepali communities worldwide.

The event is being organized in partnership with several community organizations and businesses, including Project Urja, Muglan ko Batash, Mandala Entertainment, Pandey Homes, Basecamp Beats, Hour X, K Garira?, and Momo Entertainment. Organizers say the concert aims to strengthen cultural connections within the Nepali diaspora while showcasing the richness of Nepal’s musical heritage.
