Veel Expands AI-Powered Creator Platform into Nepal and India

U.S.-based technology company Veel has officially launched its AI-powered creator marketing platform in Nepal and India, marking a major milestone for the company’s regional growth. The expansion was celebrated by U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Scott Urbom, who highlighted the platform’s role in fostering innovation and deepening commercial ties between the United States and the region. Founded by Nepali-American entrepreneur Dileep Dhakal, Veel provides an integrated workflow for brands and content creators to manage marketing campaigns, produce content, and process payments, with a dedicated team of software developers based in Kathmandu.

This expansion arrives at a pivotal time for Nepal’s burgeoning creator economy, which is currently valued at approximately $30–40 million. Veel’s arrival complements ongoing U.S. Embassy initiatives, such as the “Creators Mela,” which aim to turn creative talent into sustainable economic opportunity by helping local creators build professional skills and connect with global markets. By leveraging AI to solve common industry challenges—such as payment transparency and standardized collaboration—Veel aims to professionalize the creator ecosystem and enable local talent to monetize their skills more effectively.

As the United States celebrates 250 years of independence, the partnership underscores a shared commitment to digital innovation and economic growth. The integration of American enterprise with Nepali expertise is expected to generate new jobs and expand digital trade across South Asia. Veel, which already supports over 450 brands and 550,000 verified creators globally, has also established strategic partnerships with local financial infrastructure providers, including NCHL, eSewa, and Fonepay, to further integrate Nepali creators into the global digital economy.
