Baltimore, MD \u2013 Virginia\u2019s VA Rhinos continued their impressive 2026 campaign by securing a Runner-Up finish at the 4th Himalayan Baltimore Cup 35+ Soccer Tournament<\/strong>, further strengthening their reputation as one of the top Nepali veteran soccer clubs in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest achievement marks the club\u2019s third major podium finish of the season. Earlier this year, VA Rhinos captured a championship title in Canada, earned another runner-up finish in a separate tournament, and reached the semifinals in another competition. Their consistency throughout the season has highlighted the team\u2019s growing strength and competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A remarkable aspect of VA Rhinos\u2019 success is the club\u2019s commitment to local player development. Every member of the squad was developed and trained in Virginia, demonstrating the organization\u2019s dedication to nurturing homegrown talent and building a strong soccer community within the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tournament championship was claimed by FC Rival of Pennsylvania, who capitalized on their opportunities in the final to lift the trophy. VA Rhinos extended their congratulations to FC Rival for their well-earned victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite narrowly missing out on the title, VA Rhinos celebrated individual success as Saroj Sapkota finished as the tournament\u2019s Highest Goal Scorer. His outstanding performance throughout the competition once again established him as one of the most dangerous forwards in the Nepali veteran soccer scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FC Rival also collected two major individual honors, with their players earning the Best Midfielder and Best Goalkeeper awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the tournament, VA Rhinos expressed gratitude to their supporters, families, and members of the Nepali community for their continued encouragement and support throughout the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, the club has already begun preparations for its next 35+ tournament and announced that more updates about upcoming competitions will be shared soon.
